Everyone else may be limiting their choices unnecessarily. Limiting those choices may not always be a bad thing, however, Katz says. If you cut out crackers and cookies and cakes, youre taking in a lot fewer calories, and you may lose weight, he says, but it has nothing to do with the gluten. Katz urges readers to approach Daviss popular anti-wheat polemic with caution, and not trade one set of unhealthful habits for another. Its entirely possible to eat gluten-free junk food, too, he says.

FG saves N15bn with new fertilizer policy

He said that federal government made the savings through the introduction of direct distribution of fertilizer to farmers, eliminating middle men and corruption in the process. By so doing, he said that the federal government has been able to save N15 billion having blocked all the leakages where corruption were perpetrated by those involved in the fertilizer distribution to farmers. With the new policy, the minister said that farmers do not only get fertilizers at cheaper rate, but also receive them in good time. The minister said the federal government is poised at taking corruption out of the system to create room for quality and better economic growth. He further said that Nigeria should emulate China, which it has many similarities with, by becoming a global player in economic growth, adding that with the active population and other potentials Nigeria is noted for, it has Houston landscaper the capacity to become world destination for investment in a record of time and better society for the younger generation to live. I believe that Nigeria is the next investment destination in the world. Where we are going, Nigeria as a populous nation in the continent, is transforming into a vibrant economy our children will be proud to live in as a different world. Pan American Fertilizer and Golden Fame Resources Complete Business Combination

The new variable in CF’s business comes from the recent move from Russian fertilizer giant Uralkali to exit a major potash cartel, which could send potash prices plunging. Strong prices for high-margin urea ammonium nitrate made it CF’s best performing product and helped boost rival CVR Partners (NYSE: UAN ) as it makes plans to put just about all of its ammonia production toward urea ammonium nitrate. But with farmers having moved away from the potash-based fertilizers that PotashCorp (NYSE: POT ) focuses on, CF might now see the reverse of that strategy hurt its business if farmers move back to potash as expected price declines make it look more attractive. In the CF earnings report, look for comments from the company about hedge-fund investor Dan Loeb’s recent purchase of the company’s stock for his Third Point Management fund. With Loeb arguing the stock is cheap, investors have to feel confident that there’s plenty of room for the stock to move higher despite — or perhaps because of — turbulence in the rest of the fertilizer space. Farmers need one thing that’s even more valuable than fertilizer, and there’s one emerging company that already has the market for this key resource cornered… and stands to make in-the-know investors boatloads of cash. We reveal all in our special 100% FREE report ” The 21st Century’s Most Precious Natural Resource “.

University of Michigan janitor convicted of child slavery

Even at 99, St. Pete janitor won’t retire

And I’ve never come across a civilization or society that allows the beating of children to make a point,” Tarnow said in court. “Using broomsticks or others devices is just wrong.” A federal jury deliberated for less than a day in October before convicting Toviave, a former University of Michigan janitor and part-time tennis instructor, on four counts of forced labor. During the six-day trial, the jury heard from the four victims, who testified that Toviave regularly beat them with broomsticks, a toilet plunger, sticks, ice scrapers and phone chargers if they failed to obey orders to do their household chores. Toviave also starved them and deprived them of sleep as punishment, they said. They said the abuse spanned nearly five years in their Ypsilanti, Mich., home, which Toviave got through Habitat for Humanity, records show.

Masih intercepted the bomber in the doorway, however, and the bomber self-detonated right outside the crowded hall, spraying many of his explosive vest’s arsenal of ball bearings out into the parking lot instead of into the cafeteria. “The sweeper who was cleaning up here saw someone outside and went towards him,” said Nasreen Siddique, a cafeteria worker who was wounded in the head, leg and arm by the blast. “[Masih] told him that he could not come inside because there were girls inside. And then they started arguing. And then we heard a loud blast and all the glass broke.” “Between 300 to 400 girls were sitting in there,” said Professor Fateh Muhammad Malik, the rector of the university.
